Au cœur de notre démarche de reconstitution se trouve l’artisanat et les techniques anciennes que nous utilisons. Au fil du temps nous avons appris ces techniques par des professionnels, et aujourd’hui nous sommes fiers de proposer, dans une démarche de médiation et de transmission, des ateliers d’artisanats où nous faisons participer le public.

Les balades en mer
Selon l’évènement, nous proposons d’intégrer au programme des animations deux balades d’une heure en mer par jour, une le matin et une l’après-midi.
Nous tarifons cette prestation 20€ par personne, ce tarif peut être inclus au devis de l’évènement ou être à la charge des passagers selon la politique de l’évènement.
Les combats
L’association Gward an Aod regroupe plusieurs savoirs faire, en lien plus ou moins direct avec la mer et l’histoire. L’un d’eux, et pas des moindre, est la pratique du combat historique.
En duel ou en combat de ligne, nous pratiquons le combat depuis près de
10 ans grâce à l’association Ar Soudarded, un de nos partenaires. La rigueur que nous exigeons pour les combattant.e.s concerne aussi bien la sécurité que l’historicité, tout le matériel que nous utilisons doit être sourcé archéologiquement, ou bien correspondre à des éléments mentionnés dans des textes ou sur des enluminures (dans des psautiers essentiellement).
La sécurité en combat s’acquiert que d’une seule façon : la pratique. Régulièrement, les combattant.e.s s’entraînent afin de pouvoir exécuter des prestations en public. Lors de nos entraînements, nous travaillons la technique aussi bien grâce à la mécanique de nos armes, que par l’utilisation, une fois encore, de textes et de psautiers.
